I am so pleased and excited that you will be joining our class this year! I have been teaching for 27 years, and every year brings excitement and anticipation for me. I truly enjoy going to "work" every day, even though the enjoyment of teaching and interacting with students rarely feels like work at all. In fact, there is no place I'd rather be than at Voorhees Middle School! I have always lived in South Jersey, and I am a graduate of Stockton University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, as well as a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. I am also a certified Reading Specialist with a Master's Degree in Reading Education from Wilmington University. I am happily married with three sons: Jake, 18, and identical twins Luke and Chase, 16. I am a self-proclaimed "soccer mom", “swim mom”, "golf mom", reading enthusiast, and die-hard Philadelphia sports fan! In my spare time I enjoy riding my Peloton, reading, and listening to podcasts, as well as spending time with my family and my yellow labrador, Sansa. As a family we love to travel together, especially vacationing in the Outer Banks, Jamaica, and Disney World. I am thrilled to be your teacher this year!
