About the Class

6th grade Language Arts is an important class to help you grow professionally as students and people.  We focus on writing and language skills to improve our ability to write in a variety of scenarios.  In class we will learn how to properly write an email, a story, do research, use evidence in our writing, and much more. This class will give you the chance to formulate your own opinions and ideas and present them professionally through your writing.

About the Teacher

I am excited to have joined the VMS family back in 2020 to be a 6th grade Language Arts teacher.  I grew up in Cherry Hill and attended the University of Delaware where I received a degree in business. Later on, I received my teaching degree from Stockton College. I enjoy sports, reading, food, cooking, TV/movies, and all sorts of outdoor activities.  My favorite thing is to spend time with my wife and son, who was born in October 2020.  Teaching is my passion and I feel very lucky to be able to do it here in Voorhees.  My goal for myself and my students is to have fun and learn something new every day.
