Preschool and Kindergarten Transportation Street Corner Bus Stops for the 2024-2025 School Year
Preschool Transportation for the 2024-2025 School YearAs the district prepares for the opening of the Voorhees Early Childhood Development Center (VECDC), changes were made to our transportation practices effective September 1, 2023.
Beginning with the 2023-2024 school year, preschool students will be picked up at street intersection corners instead of at each student's house. This change is necessary to avoid extended transport times that are associated with additional bus stops. By creating strategically placed stops, it allows us to transport more students while also reducing the time students are on the bus.In accordance with New Jersey State law, all students are transported using lap belts. Preschool buses will have bus aides to assist students with seat belts and generally help students with the trip. Please note: Students with Special Educational Programming will receive transportation in accordance with their Individual Education Program (IEP).Preschool and Kindergarten Corner Stop Presentation
