Basic Skills Improvement
The Basic Skills Improvement Program, funded through district and federal resources, provides assistance to students functioning below our district's standard in reading, writing and/or mathematics. Students in all district schools may participate in B.S.I.P., which offers individual and small group assistance. BSIP also offers assistance through Title I to township students attending non-public schools.
The Basic Skills office holds parenting workshops throughout the year. Open to all residents, these popular programs address issues of interest to all parents. Notices of these programs are posted on the district website. For questions relating specifically to your child and the Basic Skills Program, please contact the school’s basic skills teacher.
