Dear Fourth Grader,
Welcome to fourth grade! I am so happy that you are in our class this year. I am looking forward to spending the most wonderful year with you! I hope you are looking forward to beginning fourth grade because there are so many safe, fun and exciting activities that we will be doing in class. Throughout this year we will explore many adventures in literacy, writing, and becoming the best mathematical problem-solvers! Get ready to dive into new concepts and challenges in all subject areas. Look sharp because we are going to discover and create new ideas of learning and most importantly make new friends! In order to be on point for a successful year, I ask that you kindly purchase the attached list of supplies for school. This is a general class supply list and a few additional items specifically for our class. Please use this list when purchasing supplies for this upcoming school year. Please remember to bring all supplies on the first day of school, Thursday, September 5, 2024. Our classroom will then be able to get organized and soar into learning. Fourth grade lunch isn’t until 12:30pm, so you may bring a nutritious snack to hold you over such as a granola bar, cheese stick, pretzels, pineapples etc.One more important sharp tool, please remember that our classroom will be running on kindness, positive attitude, humor, and hard working students.
