Helen Haley, CPA
Business Administrator/Board Secretary
Helen Haley joined the Voorhees Township Public Schools as the Business Administrator/Board Secretary in January 2019. Helen graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She began her career as an auditor for a “Big Eight” accounting firm in Philadelphia and obtained her CPA certificate. After four years as an auditor, Helen became the Controller of a privately-held utility company in Radnor, Pennsylvania and worked there for six years. Helen was born and raised in Camden County, so after commuting to Pennsylvania for ten years, she decided it was time to find a job closer to home. In 1996, Helen was hired as the Accountant for the Eastern Regional School District. Subsequently, Helen was the Business Administrator for the Egg Harbor Township Public Schools and the Vineland Public Schools for a total of ten years of public school experience. In between, while raising her children, Helen worked at a local accounting firm and served five years on the Waterford Township Board of Education.
Having started her public education career in Voorhees at Eastern Regional, Helen is very excited to return to Voorhees as the Business Administrator of the Voorhees Township Public Schools. Helen was especially impressed by the core belief of the Voorhees Township Public Schools that “an excellent educational system must embrace all four elements of the educational experience. They are academics, activities, arts and athletics.” Helen is honored to be a part of the Central Administration team to assist in providing a well-rounded educational experience to the students of the Voorhees Township Public Schools.
