Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and InstructionMr. Andrew Moskowitz
Mr. Andrew Moskowitz has been an educator for the past twenty-five years. Over the course of his career, he has served in various roles, including Elementary School Principal, Middle School Vice-Principal, Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, and Elementary School Teacher. He has served in two school districts for most of his career. Mr. Moskowitz began his teaching career in the Franklin Township Public Schools in Gloucester County, New Jersey. For seven years, he was a sixth-grade elementary school teacher at Main Road School. In January 2007, Mr. Moskowitz was promoted to the position of Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction. In that role, Mr. Moskowitz was responsible for K-6 curriculum updates, enacting new policies, and serving as the district test coordinator for state testing. After almost two years in this position, Mr. Moskowitz accepted a job as the Vice-Principal for the seventh grade at Voorhees Middle School. From September 2008 until July 2012, Mr. Moskowitz oversaw seventh-grade discipline, classroom instruction, transportation concerns, and school testing for grades 6-8. In July 2012, Mr. Moskowitz accepted the position of Principal at ET Hamilton Elementary School. For eleven years, he enjoyed being the instructional leader of a fantastic school community where students come first.
Mr. Moskowitz’s educational background began with a Business Degree in Accounting from La Salle University. After a short career as an auditor, Mr. Moskowitz decided that his true passion was education, and he resumed his studies to accomplish this goal. Mr. Moskowitz earned two Master's Degrees: an M.A. in Education from LaSalle University and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. Additionally, Mr. Moskowitz has completed all of his coursework for Doctoral Studies at Rowan University.
He has been married to his wife, Roseann, for the last fifteen years. Mr. Moskowitz has a son, Matthew, who is in seventh grade, and a daughter, Victoria, who is in fifth grade.
Mr. Moskowitz brings over seventeen years of administrative experience to his role as Assistant Superintendent of Schools. He appreciates the opportunity to serve the Voorhees community in this role.
