About Mrs. Smith
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer vacation. School is back to its regular routine, but with a new teacher. My name is Melissa Smith, and I will be your child's third-grade teacher for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Therefore, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.
In May of 2004, I graduated from Rowan University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. Starting in September of 2004, I was fortunate enough to begin my teaching career in the Voorhees School District. Since 2004, I have held several positions throughout the Voorhees School District, such as an Instructional Associate, 3rd-grade teacher, and 4th-grade teacher. However, I have been fortunate to call Osage my home, where I have been teaching third grade for over eighteen years. In 2022, I earned my Master's Degree in Education, specializing in Integrating Technology in the Classroom. I love to learn and share my experiences and knowledge with my students and colleagues.
