    Voorhees Middle School

The middle school counseling team is located in an innovative center where students in grades 6-8 can receive comprehensive support in the following areas: academic development, social-emotional awareness, career planning, and health and wellness. The counselors work with parents, administrators, and staff to ensure that students are focused on college and career readiness and possess the skills necessary to be productive and proactive citizens.

The role of each guidance counselor is to build a positive relationship with students that is based upon trust, confidentiality, and mutual respect. Students meet with their counselors to review progress, make key educational decisions, monitor academic schedules, and discuss problems that they encounter in middle school.
