Community Education and Recreation

The Voorhees Board of Education created Community Education and Recreation (CER)  in 1975. Today, it is one of the oldest programs of its kind and has grown dramatically. But its vision has remained consistent.  

CER continues to use school and township buildings and fields to serve the people of Voorhees by offering various programs and services that enrich their lives.

CER offers numerous courses and programs to all residents beginning at four years of age. These range from vocational to academic and from leisure to competitive athletics.  The district's five schools are used by CER 12 months a year, seven days a week.
