PECS
The Picture Exchange Communication System, PECS, is a system that allows all children to communicate. It was developed in 1985 by Andy Bondy, PhD, and Lori Frost, MS, CCC-SLP. Since then, it has been utilized worldwide to help individuals with developmental disabilities communicate. PECS teaches functional communication so it can be used in a wide variety of settings.
