My name is Ashley Izzo and I am SO excited to be your child's preschool teacher this year! Preschool is an exciting age to teach and I am looking forward to a great year! In preschool, we will learn and grow together through play and hands-on learning experiences. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a young child and am so excited that my dream has become my reality!

I grew up in Marlton, New Jersey, but lived in North Jersey for five years, while I completed a teacher education program at Montclair State University. I have a Bachelors Degree in Family and Child Studies, with a concentration in school settings. I also have a Masters Degree in Teaching. My teaching certifications include Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I completed my student teaching in a 1st grade classroom at George Washington Academy in Elizabeth, New Jersey. I have been working in Voorhees Public Schools since 2017. I completed a long-term substitute position here at Signal Hill in a Special Education Preschool classroom. I then completed a long-term substitute position at Kresson Elementary School in a Special Education Kindergarten through 2nd grade classroom. Following these positions, I received my dream job of teaching preschool!
