Welcome to the 2022 - 2023 school year!
Over the past ten years, I have enjoyed being the Principal of Kresson School and I have loved being a part of such an amazing community. As I enter into my eleventh year here, it is hard to believe that I have been a part of the Voorhees School District for the past twenty-four years, where my journey began as a 4th grade teacher at Signal Hill School. I then moved on to become the 6th grade Assistant Principal at Voorhees Middle School, where I stayed for eight years. Now... I am so excited to continue to be a part of Kresson School, where I get the privilege of working with such wonderful kids, parents, and staff members every day. When I am not at school, I am kept very busy with my own three children. This fall my oldest daughter Kate will be entering her sophomore year at Clemson University. My son Matt will be a high school junior and my daughter Emma will be a seventh grade middle-schooler. I am very fortunate and I believe my experiences as a mom have always helped me to be a better principal. I feel very lucky to be a part of the Kresson family and I am eager to get to work with you and your children as we embark upon another exciting year together.
With all that has gone on over the last couple of years, as well as all that continues to unfold, it is my goal to ensure the safety and security of your children. It is my hope that you and your children will continue to embrace the many opportunities for our students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally as they make their journey through their years at Kresson. This website is a valuable communication tool that is designed to be used as a bridge between home and school. The information that is provided allows you to gain insight into our many school programs as well as basic information to help you navigate through the year. Throughout the school year, I will also send out weekly newsletters in order to inform you of upcoming events happening at our school. This is a great way to maintain on-going communication between home and school. In addition, if at any time you have a question, concern, or suggestion, please feel free to contact me directly.
On behalf of the Kresson staff, I hope you share our enthusiasm for beginning a new school year. While every year brings with it challenges... your continued support, cooperation, positive attitudes and active participation make it possible for us to continue to provide the caring and nurturing environment that Kresson is known for.Sincerely,
Stacey Morris
Principal
