• All About Me

Hello, my name is Ms. Sansone. I have been working in the Voorhees Township School District for twenty-four years now, and this is my 23rd year at Osage Elementary School. I love it here because the staff and students are so generous and welcoming. We are "one big happy family." I have taught English as a Second Language, Basic Skills, and Fifth Grade. I enjoy teaching fifth grade because it is a transitional year and it is amazing to see how much the students have grown at the end of it.

I graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education & Psychology in 2001. I decided to further my education with a post graduate certification from Rutgers University in Special Education in 2004. Having a dual degree has helped me professionally because I can ensure my students' needs are met each and every day. In 2009, I graduated from Walden University with a Master's degree in Elementary Math and Reading for grades K-6. My willingness and motivation to learn new and innovative strategies to use in my classroom have proven to be very effective and I'm hoping some of that "drive" rubs off on my students.

In my free time, I enjoy crafting, watching movies, listening to music, and spending quality time with my family, friends, and my puppies, Cash & Josie. I also love spending time with my students in the classroom. They definitely keep me on my toes.
