       My name is Miss Dena Appelson, and I will be your child's kindergarten teacher.  I believe that all children have the potential for greatness, and I will provide a learning environment, which promotes this philosophy.  Your child will learn a great deal in my class by means of individual and group activites.  I encourage students to express their creativity and individuality.
       As a parent, you are the most important person in your child's life; we need to work together as a team for your child's benefit.  With school and home working together, I know your child can have a successful year!
