About Mrs. Beck
Thank you for taking the time to read about me! I was raised in Voorhees. I graduated from Kresson Elementary, VMS and Eastern High School. I went to Rowan University and obtained a dual degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. I completed my student teaching with third grade at E.T. Hamilton, then worked as a substitute teacher in all four elementary schools in Voorhees. I worked for a year as an instructional associate, fell in love with working in the district, and am happy to have over 25 years of experience teaching here!
I have three amazing kids, Aaron (20), Aiden (17), and Alyssa (15). Mr. Beck, our kids and I live with our dog, Rigby, in an old farm house that was built in 1867. Can you figure out how old it is? We spend lots of time doing projects on it. When I have spare time, I enjoy reading novels by my favorite authors, watching movies and sports with my family, cooking and entertaining, practicing yoga, solving challenging puzzles, and spending time gardening. I love to spend weeks with extended family down the Jersey shore each summer. I have a passion for learning new things, and am very proud to say that I view myself as a lifelong learner. People who know me will tell you that I adore all things Disney!
I am so excited to spend time together this year.
I know we will accomplish wonderful things!
