    Our school is one of four elementary schools serving children in Voorhees Township, New Jersey, a suburban community located 12 miles east of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Signal Hill School opened its doors in 1989.  Today, the school houses close to 454 students and has over 75 staff members.  We are a neighborhood school that is supported by our students’ dedicated parents and our actively involved S.H.P.F.A. parent group.  Together as partners, our community continually strives to create a safe school environment in order to educate all of our children for the preparation and achievement of new world skills needed for the 21st century.  Our most important goal is to help every student reach their full potential to become life-long learners and contributing citizens of our surrounding community and world.
