Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Miller

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at Signal Hill Elementary school. My name is Christine Miller, and I am your child’s/childrens’ Pull-out English Language Arts teacher.

This is my second year at Signal Hill and my fourth year of teaching. I am originally from Washington State. However, my family moved around a lot when I was growing up, as I continued to do so, overseas straight out of high school. I finally ended up in the North East about 16 years ago. I decided on a career change when my oldest daughter was born, as it was time to settle down. It wasn’t until she began Kindergarten that I fell in love with the idea of teaching. I began college online at Grand Canyon University, while I worked as a teaching assistant in a 2nd grade pull-out classroom. I earned my Dual Bachelor’s in Special and General education in the Spring of 2019, and began teaching that fall for the 2019-2020 school year. I currently live in Maple Shade with my husband, Brad, and our two daughters, Chloe (age 14) and Kaitlynn (age 12).

I am looking forward to working with your child(ren) during the school year. I also wanted to impart my strong belief in the importance of a school-home partnership. If you ever need to contact me, my email is Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you ever have any questions or concerns. Be on the lookout for another email from me at the end of each week providing important updates/reminders for the week to come :)

I look forward to partnering with you throughout the year!
