Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Signal Hill Elementary School. My name is Christine Miller, and I am one of your child’s/childrens’ teachers. I co-teach with Mrs. Leonetti.

This is my fourth year at Signal Hill and my sixth year of teaching. I am originally from Washington State. However, my family moved around a lot when I was growing up, as I continued to do so, overseas straight out of high school. I finally ended up in the North East about 18 years ago. I decided on a career change when my oldest daughter was born, as it was time to settle down. It wasn’t until she began Kindergarten that I fell in love with the idea of teaching. I began college online at Grand Canyon University, while I worked as a teaching assistant in a 2nd grade pull-out classroom. I earned my Dual Bachelor’s in Special and General education in the Spring of 2019, and began teaching that fall for the 2019-2020 school year. I currently live in Maple Shade with my husband, Brad, and our two daughters, Chloe (age 16) and Kaitlynn (age 14).

I am looking forward to working with your child(ren) during the school year. I also wanted to impart my strong belief in the importance of a school-home partnership.
