Welcome!
My name is Ms. Ashley Corcoran. This will be my 5th year of teaching at Voorhees Township Public Schools. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Chestnut Hill College and I earned my master's degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University.
Before teaching in Voorhees, I had many opportunities to serve as a long-term substitute in different districts, teaching grades 1st, 2nd, and 5th. I also had the opportunity of becoming an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) where I served students with disabilities. In this role I was able to find my niche and really grow as a teacher. This position as an RBT led me to want to pursue a degree in special education!
In my free time, I love to watch the Phillies and Eagles! I also love to paint and draw.
Fun facts: I have an identical twin sister and a cat named Dottie (named after the main character in my favorite movie- A League of Their Own).
I am looking forward to a great school year!
