Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Francona

Hi everyone! I am Ms. Francona, Hamilton's Art Teacher!

Here is a little bit about myself.

I am a 2021 graduate of the Rowan University Art Education Program where I earned a Bachelor's of Art in Education and Art Education. In 2021, I was hired to start in September, as the part-time Art Teacher at Osage. There I taught all of 4th grade art and was able to see how much I truly love this district and love teaching! I also briefly worked at the Perkins Center for the Arts in Collingswood and sometimes may still work there during the summer arts camp! I am eager to be here in the Voorhees Community, bringing joy to creativity and self-expression.

Though I concentrated on photography as an art form in school, my favorite ways to be creative are either Watercolor Painting or Pen and Ink. I also have experience of using many other types of media, including clay, jewelry making, printmaking and am open to learning much more! I have two dogs that I love very much and love to go on walks with them. Animals are the best!

In my art classroom we will explore art history, art from various artists around the world, different cultures, new art techniques and a variety of media including clay, paint, sculpture, drawing and printmaking.

My hope is to have an Art Show… hopefully in the next year or so, so please stay tuned!

Overall, I want my students to feel safe, happy and also confident as they create. As long as they are trying their best and staying positive, then that is what matters! I’m so excited to be at Hamilton!
