Hello Hamilton Students and Parents,

I am Ms. Peak, and I am the general music teacher at ET Hamilton!

I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2019 with a degree in Music Education with a focus in Voice and taught for two years at an elementary school in Columbia, Maryland. 

My music classroom will include music teaching methods from Orff Schulwerk and Zoltán Kodály, which will encompass both instrumental and vocal music education. 

Not only do I sing, but I have played piano and tenor saxophone since 3rd grade. Throughout my schooling, I was involved in marching bands for 9 years, musical theater for 7 years, as well as various other ensembles. I believe a balanced music education will include singing, exploration, instrument playing, movement, creating, and having fun!

I am very excited to start this new school year together and exploring music with you!
