• Thank you for visiting my website! I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself and my philosophy on music.

I graduated from The University of the Arts in 2011 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition. I then finished my Master in Teaching degree in Music Education in 2012. Since then, I returned to my hometown of Vineland and held three different long term substitute positions, two of which were in music. My experiences in Vineland helped shape and refine my approach to teaching thanks to the challenges provided with such a large district as well as the support from my colleagues.

I have been a musician since I was five years old when I first learned to play the piano. Since then, I've gained experience playing with many other instruments, several of which I own for professional performances. I've been a part of many different types of ensembles; from a large university choir, to a traveling concert band, and even an '80s cover band. My experiences have given me exposure and perspective that have made me a well-rounded musician and educator.

In addition to my musical experiences, I am also an Eagle Scout and spent several years as a camp counselor where I taught other Scouts important merit badges required for their Eagle Scout rank. My Eagle Scout project involved building a bocce ball field for the women at the Vineland Developmental Center so they could practice their favorite sport for the Special Olympics.

For the past six years, I taught general music to the students at Signal Hill Elementary, and I am excited to continue teaching instruments to Voorhees students at Signal Hill, E.T. Hamilton, and VMS!
