1-2-3 Mona Lisa!
In art class we draw inspiration from Leonardo DaVinci's famous painting- The Mona Lisa. When Mrs. Palumbo says "1-2-3 Mona Lisa!" we are expected to stop what we're doing, fold our hands, close our lips, and look at the teacher. The Mona Lisa is a great way to demonstrate active listening while learning about Art History at the same time.
Smocks:
All students are expected to bring a pencil and a smock to Art each week. Please send in a smock (oversized tshirts generally work best) ASAP to protect your child's clothing from the many potentially messy materials we will be using throughout the year.
