This is about the Indians of the Eastern Woodlands. The Indians are located on the east coast of the United States. Some tribes of the Indians of the Eastern Woodlands are the Delaware, Iroquois, and Wampanoag. The Indians of the Eastern Woodlands use wood and deer for natural resources. Wow! That’s a lot to do! The Southwest Indians use clay and sand to build homes like pueblos. They make clothing with natural resources like wool and sheepskin. They grow corn, beans, squash, and pumpkins. They are famous for their clay pots they make and the tribes are the Navajo, Pueblo, Apache, and Hopi. If you want to be in this life, your going to have a lot of chores!
Time to get a move on guys! The Plain Indians live in teepees that are very easy to move from one place to another quickly. The Plain Indians are really famous for their buffalo hunting and tribes are Sioux, (Nakota,Lakota, and Dakota). They eat buffalo, deer, wild fruit, berries, and vegetables. Also they wear deerskin, shirts, dresses, moccasins, beads, and feathers. I’m not sure if their picky or fancy.
Hey Mom! I need more warm clothes. It’s getting chilly. The Northwest Indians live where Washington, Oregon, northern California, and Alaska. Some tribes are the Chinook, the Inuit, and the Tlingit. They live in homes called Plank houses. More than one family share that house. The amazing thing about Northern Indians is that they make baskets out of trees and if you pour water in it,nothing would come out! After making those baskets, they may go fishing.
