Transporting Electronic Files to and from school

Students often need to transport electronic files between school and home.  Students should have a USB travel drive for this purpose.  All travel drives must be scanned for viruses when put into a VMS computer.

For identification purposes, have your student create a word processing file (named IDENTIFICATION  which contains his/her name, grade level, and homeroom and save to the USB drive.  If the USB travel drive is left in a computer lab or classroom, it can easily be identified and returned to the owner.

All the schools in the Voorhees School District use PCs.  All electronic files being brought to school must be in a PC format so they can be opened on school computers.
