Voorhees offers an Enrichment Program in each elementary school,  with an enrichment teacher in each. This program has two basi components, with activities for students in grades K to 5. 

Sparks Groups Grades 2- 5
Students with particular acdemic strengths may be recommended by classroom teachers to work on these skills with the enrichment teacher. Studentmay also qualify for Sparks services through certain assessment criteria.

Identified Groups

Academically talented students are identified in grades K through 5. Those who qualify through standardized test scores, content area  proficiency, creativity and teacher recommendation, are serviced through a weekly two-hour pull-out program in the elementary schools.

Servicesfor K-2 students begin in January. Services for 3-5 students begin inSeptember.

Enrichmentservices may also include whole group instruction, high interest groupinstruction or academic competition instruction.

Voorhees Middle School
In Voorhees Middle School qualifying sixth grade students rotate through three related arts cycles in technology education, computers, and vocal music. Seventh grade students take technology education, music, French and Spanish.  Eighth grade students are offered high school level algebra I, French I and Spanish I and accelerated art.
