My name is Miss Dubowitch.  This is my fifth year of teaching, and my fourth year teaching 5th grade at Signal Hill Elementary School.  Prior to beginning my teaching career at Signal Hill, I taught 4th grade at E.T. Hamilton and was a substitute teacher in the district for one year.

I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education. During my time at Penn State, I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time in various school districts, such as Milton, PA, where I participated in a field experience in a 6th grade classroom at Milton Middle School.  My student teaching was completed in Philadelphia, PA in a full-day kindergarten classroom at Martha Washington Academics Plus Elementary School.

When I am not teaching, I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family and friends.  During the summer, I usually head down to the Jersey shore, where my family has a shore house.  I have traveled to many places, such as Mexico, California, Florida, Massachusetts, Israel and numerous Caribbean Islands.  I also lived in Florence, Italy for four months when I was in college and had the opportunity to travel all throughout Europe.  I have seen many amazing things and would love to share my experiences with you!

I am so excited that you are a part of my class this year.  Thanks so much for taking the time to get to know me!
